About the Show
Daughters of Persia celebrates one of the great cultures of the world, through the stories of its extraordinary women. This semi-staged drama brings to life the rich history and mythology of Persia, told through powerful narration and evocative music.
Created by the acclaimed British pianist Margaret Fingerhut MBE and rising Iranian composer Farhad Poupel (currently in the UK on a Global Talent visa), the show is scripted by Oscar and BAFTA-nominated screenwriter William Nicholson (Gladiator, Les Misérables)
