Translation can be both a <strong>bridge<\/strong> to connect with global culture and a <strong>window<\/strong> through which distortion and misunderstanding may occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this lecture, <strong>Dr. Alireza Abiz<\/strong> presents his critical perspective on the <strong>global standing of Persian literature as reflected through translation<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cFrom the opportunities that have enabled cultural exchange, to the linguistic, stylistic, and institutional challenges that have complicated its path to globalization.
