Proceeds of this concert will be used to supports young female artists from Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Created by<\/strong> Margaret Fingerhut (piano) Farhad Poupel (composer)<br><strong>Script by<\/strong> William Nicholson<br><strong>Performed by<\/strong> Margaret Fingerhut (piano) Bradley Creswick (violin) Guy Johnston (cello)<br><strong>Narrated by<\/strong> Tamsin Greig Shaparak Khorsandi Shala Nyx<br><strong>Ticket: Kings Place<\/strong> &#8211; https:\/\/shorturl.at\/063s6<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This celebration of one of the great cultures of the world, through the stories of its women, Daughters of Persia will be premiered at King\u2019s Place London on 25 January 2026, and features a new commission from Farhad Poupel <em>The Laughter of Gordafarid<\/em> for narrator and piano, with music by fellow Iranians Reza Vali, Aftab Darvishi and Golnoush Khaleghi, one of the first female conductors in Iran.\u00a0 There will also be much-loved music by Rimsky-Korsakov, Prokofiev, Ravel and Pablo Casals performed by a trio of piano, violin and cello.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kings Place 25 January 2026 at 7pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ticket:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/shorturl.at\/063s6\">https:\/\/shorturl.at\/063s6<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A small number of <strong>VIP tickets<\/strong> remain available.
