The work draws on the Iranian tradition of poetic divination\u2014a practice of opening a book of poetry at random and interpreting its signs as a symbolic response to a personal concern about the future, something uncertain yet deeply significant to the participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this performance, audience members are invited to step onto the stage, form an intention, and randomly select one of the calligram-designed cards. The performer, in the role of a fortune teller, then reads a text associated with the chosen image, offering an imagined response to the participant\u2019s unspoken concern. At the same time, a video artwork based on the same calligram is displayed on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through a parodic engagement with the concept of divination, the artist has created short, contemporary poems that enable an interactive encounter with the audience.
